Music 4 Cancer Fest
Five days of solid Punk Rock and hardcore music that featured bands such as Grimskunk, The Real Mackenzies, Collin Moore, Take the Boys and the 15 other bands. More than 1200 people showed up during the 5 day event. So far, shows like the ones we had in Ste-Therese have not been seen in the region for over 10 years.
All spectators that attended the concerts behaved in an orderly manner and we are proud to announce that no problems occurred during the event.
Following the success of this first Music 4 Cancer Fest, we are planning a second edition for 2012 with bigger names and bands.
Once again, thank you for making this event a success.

Things just couldn't get any better for Music 4 Cancer and it's organizers.

The M4C team had the opportunity to meet bands that were part of the double
cd album. In total 95 cd's were sold.
We also organized a Mohawk-O-Thon where bands were invited to do a Mohawk
haircut to anyone interested. Participants were invited to give 20 dollars for the haircut.
In total we raised 965 dollars for this activity. Fun was had by all,
A very special thanks goes to The Brains and Grimskunk who gave us some time and to
NOFX where we were able to meet their manager.

On the 16th of May, Music 4 Cancer was honored by the city of Blainville during their annual "Blainville Tu M'inspire" event. It was following an article in the local Nordinfo newspaper the week before that the city decided to honor Music 4 Cancer and its founder Jay Epinat and Francois Dupont. The Mayor of Blainville was impressed by M4C's mission and the incerdible story, work and research behind M4C.

Please note that Music 4 Cancer will be celebrating its first anniversary with a rock solid show on May 28th, 2011 at
le Monte Cristo Bar in Ste-Therese.
The Brain, Fifty Stars Anger and Cats 'N' Crows will be featured on this first anniversary special.
"THE BRAINS are a killer, seven year old psychobilly punk band from Montreal, Canada. It's truly quite amazing how such a crazy sound can come out of just three instruments: the bass, guitar and drums. Though often classified as straight up psychobilly or rockabilly, The Brains are really more at the hardcore end of the rockabilly music scale; it's like punk with a serious twist" - Pure Grain Radio
FIFTY STARS ANGER : They Played more than 450 shows in the last 7 years ! You'll love them if you like bands like Propagandhi, Good Riddance, and political lyrics !
A show you won't want to miss.
Three great bands for $5.00. We expect you to come in great numbers and make this event a succes.
